What does the Division do?
This is a common question asked by GPs and Practice Staff, and the Board of Directors are keen to share the key activities undertaken by the Division to highlight the valuable contributions made to your practices and patient outcomes.
In order to facilitate this, the Board of Directors are pleased to announce the release of the Division’s Annual Report for 2007-08 which is available in hard copy by contacting Cathie on 4921 7728 or by clicking HERE.

Towards a National Primary Health Care Strategy - A Discussion Paper from the Australian Government
At the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) Annual Forum held in Darwin recently, The Hon Nicola Roxon MP launched a discussion paper from the Australian Government titled "Towards a National Primary Health Care Strategy". Click HERE to access a copy of this paper.
As outlined in the paper, the Hon Nicola Roxon "encourages you to participate in this process, so that we can get the best possible result for all of us in Australia who depend on world class health services".
Therefore the Board of Directors invites your comments regarding the paper "Towards a National Primary Health Care Strategy" to be submitted to the Division by 23rd January 2009 via email sbailey@capdivgp.com . It is anticipated that by providing a submission for the Capricornia region from the Division as a while, we'll have a greater presence than if submissions were only submitted individually.
All responses received will be collated and presented to the Board of Directors on Wednesday 11th February to finalise the Capricornia Division of General Practice's submission.
