The Division provides practice support and regular education to ensure practice staff and GPs are well informed when it comes to immunisation issues including:
- Immunisation Schedules
- Vaccine Handling and Cold Chain Management
- Data Cleaning and Management
- Recall/Reminder Systems
- HIC/ACIR/VIVAS Reporting Issues
- General Practice Immunisation Incentive (GPII) Scheme
Practice Support Officer Service
Division staff are available to visit your practice and assist you with any concerns you may have about immunisation. Please contact Shelly Craig at the Division on 07 4921 7750 to arrange a visit or for more information.
Temperature Loggers
The Division also offers a Temperature Logger Loan Service to practices. Temperature Loggers are able to assist practices to monitor the effectiveness of their vaccine fridge and accuracy of their vaccine thermometers.
