The Division's CaMHP Program is part of the Better Outcomes in Mental Health Care (BOIMHC) initiative and has been developed to provide eligible GPs with improved access to focused psychological strategies (FPS) for their patients. The FPS sessions are provided by appropriately qualified Mental Health and Allied Health Professionals and eligible patients may access from 6 to 12 free FPS sessions.
Patient Eligibility
Patients must reside in the Rockhampton, Gracemere, Capricorn Coast or Gladstone areas and meet the ICD-10 PHC criteria. Patients must not be less than 10 years of age and must also be a Concession Card Holder (Pension, Student, Healthcare).
GP Eligibility
GPs must have completed CaMHP Orientation Training or equivalent and be working in the Rockhampton, Gracemere, Capricorn Coast and Gladstone areas.
